Throughout my journey as a legal professional and entrepreneur, I have remained deeply committed to contributing to Armenia’s development through the advancement of corporate governance, economic growth, and inclusive leadership. My early academic interest in corporate law evolved into a career centered on creating legal and structural foundations for sustainable progress. At a time when corporate governance in Armenia was often viewed as a formality, I recognized the transformative power of sound governance practices—especially when driven by international standards and cross-border cooperation.

Working at a consulting firm advising international investment deals deepened my expertise and affirmed the role of global collaboration in Armenia’s economic development. These experiences shaped my conviction that legal reform and strategic thinking are essential to national progress.

In 2020, I launched my own legal practice to support Armenia’s startup ecosystem—an environment I believe holds immense potential for innovation and global relevance. My work has focused on enhancing the investability of local companies, facilitating access to international capital, and introducing governance models tailored to sustainable growth. I take pride in having supported ambitious entrepreneurs and high-potential ventures through thoughtful legal structuring and practical guidance. This is my way of ensuring that Armenian talent is not only recognized locally, but also empowered to compete globally.

Yet, I know that true systemic change requires more than individual effort. It requires a long-term vision supported by education, strategic alliances, and global exposure. I am convinced that the Corporate Governance & Practice LL.M. Program at Stanford is the ideal platform for me to deepen my expertise and return equipped to lead bold reforms at home. The program’s emphasis on business strategy and cross-border transactions aligns perfectly with the challenges Armenia faces today.

My commitment goes beyond law and policy—I see it as a mission to ignite belief in possibility. Armenia needs examples of success. We need to show our people, especially our women, that they are allowed to dream—and that with vision and resilience, those dreams can become reality. As a female founder from a post-conflict region, I feel a particular responsibility to use my voice, education, and network to amplify the aspirations of others and create pathways for the next generation of Armenian leaders.

Through my work and the support of initiatives like the Huys Scholarship, I aim to be a bridge between Armenia’s local brilliance and global opportunities. Whether by advising a startup, mentoring a young woman, or influencing policy change, I will continue to serve as a catalyst for innovation, equity, and sustainable growth in Armenia—and wherever I can make a meaningful impact.

I am aware that Huys Foundation is granting the Huys Scholarship to me with the anticipation of my good faith pursuit and implementation of the projects and undertakings described in this letter, to which I hereby commit.
